For the Plett SPARK Land Art Route we expanded our programme into the forest and fynbos-scapes – providing a new canvas for our visiting and local land artists, and followers, to explore, delving deeper into the Plett landscape. Daron Chatz Events presented a screening of “Sculpting This Earth”, directed by Victor van Aswegan, following internationally acclaimed Strijdom van der Merwe through four seasons of creating timeless land artworks.

Participating artists included: Mike Fisher, Andrée Bonthuys, Janet Botes, Zbys Kaczmarek, Cheryl Traub-Adler, Janet Ranson, Shayla Watson, Adri von Wielligh, Derek Saul, Martin Wolfhart, Auriol Hays & James van Minnen. The sites included Central Beach, Piesang river mouth, Hobie beach / The Wedge, Fisanthoek brewing & Tebelo Lighthouse.
