I was raised on a working farm in the mountains of the North-Eastern Cape. A little voice in me said theres more to know outside of the traditional schooling and a conservative upbringing I had. Running away to work and travel in various countries brought me closer to that little voice. Joining a dancing circus, discovering painting, connecting with incredible creatives and nurturing a curiosity for the invisible are all special ingredients that infuse my art making today. I’ve recently moved back to my family farm, with an open heart and mind, where I have my studio and raise chickens.
