Janet Ranson

Janet paints and makes works from found material, most recently a family of fantastic papier mache aardwolves.

She approaches land art as a conversation with all the inhabitants of a given place and believes in the power of art to evoke a brighter future (such as the return of the aardwolve to their land).

Janet has participated in collaborative projects in south africa and land art residencies abroad. She has been privileged to attend Plett Land Art since its onset.
